On the second week of August  ESTCubes’  international team visited Brandner PCB factory. The purpose of this visit was to get to know the factory, where are produced all printed circuit boards on  the first Estonian satellite board, which was sent into orbit. All printed circuit boards were produced by the schematics, which were maded by students.

According to the  ESTCubes’ programme manager Mart Noorma, is the place, where schemes, which were invented by students team, are poured into physical form, is very important. „For producing the printed circuit boards for satellite, we chose apart from other companies, who produce printed circuit boards, Brandner PCB thanks to their fast operating and high quality“, he explained.  By Noorma, Brandner PCB has shown itself from the best side, especially during last weeks of satellite completion, when new printed circuit boards where often needed in counted hours.

The student satellite team was so impressed of the tour in company, that they would like to co-operate also in the future. Besides production of printed circuit boards, the co-operation would include, that the chief technologist would share his knowledge with students within the lectures and students would have the opportunity to do their practice in Brandner PCB factory. / source: Järva Teataja

Today 11 years ago PCB boards made in Brandner where launched into space with Estcube-1. Since then we have taken part also in launching Estcube-2 and also future programs

Thanks to the program Student Satellite, which started five years ago, the small-scale satellite Estcube-1 was launched into space at 5:06 on 7 May 2013. The first successful signal was sent from the satellite five hours later.

This added tiny Estonia to the list of countries that have reached space.

Brandner is honored to be part of this grand and historic project – Estcube includes PCB-s that were prepared by us.

Brandner started the New Year on 02.01.2013, when our hard-working collective had a little champagne and made New Year plans.

There was general opinion about, that the “air is thick” and people in Estonia as well in Europe expecting something. Something is about to happen, and lots of things has to be changed. But what exactly and finally when?

Dissatisfaction with the economic and social environment have been exceeded the people level of pain. It is clear that the same things can’t continue. It would be seriously sad when we replacing our knives and forks for sticks and all of it happening in our own cultural space …

2013 is the year of refraction. All who are strong in 2013 will survive the common year. All those who are creative will be succeed and manage everything.

Brandner PCB tries to be creative too. We want to be creative in our approaching customers as well as the product. Brandner plans to deploy in 2013 copper filled vias; expand drilling possibilities and move production to management of bar codes.

In addition to Brandner’s new image, the array of innovation is constantly continuing in our factory too.

According to our clients’ feedback, we have taken up the task of product development, meaning in the near future, you can start ordering aluminium-based PCB’s from us. We have chosen the best quality on the market today, American produced Bergquist-materials for our new product.

Finnish Radiotechnology Union members visited us on 04.05.2012.

There were 13 gentlemen in the delegation, whose purpose was to meet the modern production of printed circuit boards.

After the small greeting drink we presented Brandner PCB business, starting from establishing our company until nowadays.

This was followed by the tour in our factory, where our quests  could examine the technology of producing the printed circuit boards.

The day ended with collective lunch.

Brandner PCB composed the customer satisfaction survey questionnaire in March 2011. 20% from our existing customer base participated in the survey.

The questionnaire revealed that those clients who had had some problems with the printed circuit boards in past, are now really satisfied with the corrections we have done. Moreover they appreciated highly our clientservice, high-quality printed circuit boards and deliveries that are made on time.

We are very thankful to all our customers who took part from the survey!

A raffle was held on 18.02.2011 among the Brandner PCB customers. The award was an amazing vacation trip. The raffle was conducted between all clients who made an order for printed circuit boards in 2010. The lucky winner turned out to be Martma Grupp OÜ. Congratulations to the winner!
